The international standard ISO 21982:2020 "Technical Requirements for Screw and Nut Assembly Tools Ratchet Wrenches", which GreatStar participated in formulating this time, specifies the technical requirements for the dimensions, hardness, drop test, torque and durability test of ratchet wrench products. From the official registration and establishment of the project in December 2016 to the release and implementation, the entire formulation process of the international standard ISO 21982:2020 has gone through about 4 years, and a total of nearly ten standard texts have been revised and improved. Relevant units in the tool industry have carried out many tests and verifications on the technical content and technical data in the standard text, providing strong technical support for the formulation of the standard. ISO 21982:2020, which was formulated this time, has been officially released by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
ISO 21982:2020 is the first international standard for the tool hardware industry led by China, breaking the monopoly of EU countries, greatly improving China's influence, and increasing China's role in the process of formulating and revising international standards.
