In 2021, the company continued to work relentlessly to increase the market share of hand tools, rapidly developed the fields of laser measuring instruments and tool boxes, and consolidated the foundation for the development of power tools business. Investment in R&D and innovation was increased; 1,838 new products were designed annually, and more than 300 new patents were applied and more than 300 patent authorizations were obtained. The annual R&D investment reached 310 million yuan, up 26.24% year on year. GreatStar actively develops new sales channels for cross-border e-commerce, increases product categories and service capabilities of cross-border e-commerce in an orderly manner, as a result, the scale of e-commerce revenue exceeded US$100 million for the first time. GreatStar devotes greater effort to build self-owned brands, and successively acquired BeA, a century-old European air tool brand, Geelong, the world's leading storage cabinet brand, and SK, a high-end auto repair tool brand. The proportion of sales revenue from self-owned brands has increased significantly. The company's annual operating income reached 10.92 billion yuan, exceeding 10 billion yuan for the first time, a year-on-year increase of 27.8%.
